Final Double Page Spread

Final Contents Page

Final Front Page

Template 1

Template 2

I wanted the contents page to have one main image which takes up the right side of the page and other smaller images of other stories around the page. Both of these have it but Template 1 has more of a stucture and the website link banner pops out more which will grab the readers attention quickly.

I created 2 templates for my double page spread, both following the main theme of having a main picture overlap both pages in order for the reader to navigate their way through the page. However, I prefer Template 1 because the page looks more 'filled'. Also, I think this will appeal to my demographic more because it is more filled and bright.

I created 2 templates for my magazine. The main difference between them is the colour scheme. I have used pale and watered down colours for both magazines, however the contruction is different in the placing of the feature stories and other pictures.

My favourite Template is number 1. I think the watered down colours blend in more than Template 2. Also, I think the colour scheme and construction is more in like with what my target audience prefers as it is not as clustered as Template 2 and has more of a structure.
